Allen then told them that they could go back in time and erase the Forces from existence. However, despite the method working, it would disrupt the timeline and Allen turned to Timeless Wells for assistance. With Wells' power to protect the timeline, Ramon and Runk started working on the Particle Harness Collector in order to collect Forces' particles from 10 days prior. Soon, Ramon chose to agree to West-Allen and walked out as he disapproved the method. He later returned and told Allen that he would always have his back. |

Ramon and Runk then attempted to calm him down by complimenting him, with him pausing time on Ramon, Runk and Wells while talking to Allen. Allen and Wells later returned to the creation of the Forces and activated the collector as Ramon and Runk monitored the percentages. However, Allen was affected by the creation and chose not to kill his "children". Ramon and Runk were surprised by the choice Allen made and agreed to work with him on another method. |

“ | Central City's my hometown. I'm not losing her that easy. | ” |
— Cisco Ramon[src]
|
Francisco Baracas "Cisco" Ramon[16][17] is a former mechanic engineer at S.T.A.R. Labs and scientific advisor to the Central City Police Department, and the current director of technology of science of A.R.G.U.S..
Ramon was mutated during the S.T.A.R. Labs particle accelerator explosion in 2014 and became a Viber. Ramon later used his powers to become the vigilante Vibe. In 2019, Ramon removed his powers using the Metahuman Cure and returned to his original position as a supporting member of Team Flash.
During Mirror Monarch's invasion, Ramon invented a series of gadgets that replicated his powers, with him using the new alter ego Mecha-Vibe. Ramon later left Team Flash in order to join A.R.G.U.S. as its latest director of technology and science, while still providing occasion support towards the team against dangerous threats, such as Godspeed.
Biography[edit | hide | hide all]
Early Life[edit | hide]
Francisco "Cisco" Ramon was born in 1991 in Central City.[4]
Joining S.T.A.R. Labs[edit | hide]
At some point prior to 2013, Ramon applied for a job in S.T.A.R. Labs as a mechanical engineer. He was then mentored by "Harrison Wells" and befriended Caitlin Snow. On his first day, Ramon wore a shirt that says, "Keep Calm and Han Shot First" and locked himself in the Cryo-Vault. However, according to Snow, they considered him a genius.[12]
Vibe[edit | hide]
In December 2013, Ramon gained the powers of a Viber and became the vigilante Vibe, as well as a partner of The Flash.[18]
Losing his Powers[edit | hide]
“ | I gave up my powers by choice. You know, I'm making this so that I can save the person I love the most. But I wouldn't expect you to understand that, Hartley. The person you love the most is yourself. | ” |
— Cisco Ramon to Hartley Rathaway[src]
|
At some point, Ramon took the Metahuman Cure and removed his powers. Which he regrets doing it as he thought he could have sensed the Crisis and stopped it before it happened. However, Snow convinced him that it is not his fault in 2020.[19]
Tech Support[edit | hide]
Crisis Aftermath[edit | hide]
After the Crisis, J'onn gave his original multiverse self's memories back. Later, he built a device that can replicate J'onn's abilities.[20]
The Exorcism of Nash Wells[edit | hide]
After Snow talked to Ramon about his regrets, Ramon decided to travel across Earth-Prime to explore the changes caused by the Crisis. A few weeks later, he returned with more knowledge on villains who exist on Earth-Prime and assisted Allen and Wally in defeating Turtle II. However, he was called by Nash and when he arrived, he realized it was Thawne controlling Nash's body. As Ramon soon found out Thawne cannot use his powers in Nash's body, Ramon started a fight which caused Cecile Horton to use a taser on Thawne.[21]
During Nash's "exorcism", Ramon was present and went into Nash's mind, which helped him face his mistakes and "exorcised" Thawne out.[22]
Construction of the ASF[edit | hide]
Later, Ramon and Barry Allen built the ASF Machine with guidelines in Nora's journal. However, it failed and Ramon compared the unsuccessful machine to a paperweight.[23]
After realizing the major key to creating a Portal Machine to the Mirrorverse located in Atlantis, Ramon volunteered to travel to Atlantis.[18]
The Speed of Thought[edit | hide]
Four weeks later, Ramon returned and activated the machine. Despite the Atlantean technology installment on the machine, it did not work well and was immediately failed. Later, Barry Allen was shown to have enhanced cognition and was able to finish Ramon's sentences before he started them. Ramon and Allen then worked together and deduced that by collecting Dark Matter photons from Eva's body into the Tachyon Enhancer can successfully activate the machine.[24]
Later, Allen was shown to slowly losing his memories and Ramon started to have doubts over his new powers. When Ramon talked to Allen over this issue, Allen claimed that Kamilla is expandable, Ramon then held the Energy Gun towards Allen and threatened him. Frost and Garcia then entered the Speed Lab and Ramon attempted to destroy the Artificial Speed Force. Allen then leaped forward and blocked the shot. However, Ramon charged the energy with Velocity 0 and slowed Allen down. The latter then threw the Quantum Ball, an invention created by Ramon himself, towards the team. As Ramon and Garcia get hit, Frost used the Velocity X and gained superhuman speed against Allen. As Garcia teleported Allen back to the Speed Lab, Ramon shot Allen once more with Velocity 0. Despite their effort, the Quantum Ball Allen threw before the fight returned and knocked the three of them unconscious.[24]
Mirrorverse Invasion[edit | hide]
After waking up, Ramon finds Allen crying over West-Allen and assists him to bring her to the med lab. The team was then informed by Joe West that the countless citizens were replaced with Reflections. Ramon then activated shutters on all windows in the facility as well as issuing a citywide blackout including the facility.[25]
Ramon and the team then discussed methods to defeat Eva. However, Allen refused to reactivate the ASF and left the Cortex. As the team regroups in the lounge and meets the new Harrison Wells, the latter explained his method of surviving his death, with the team confused by his speech.[25]
With the help of Wells and West-Allen, Ramon and Allen were able to reactivate the original organic Speed Force and allow Allen to regain his speed. As the team prepares for battle, Ramon utilizes his former equipment and upgraded devices to replicate his former powers, returning to the field as Vibe. However, the gadgets were damaged during the battle and Ramon fled to Frost. With them choosing to fight Eva's army hand-to-hand.[25]
After Eva's realization of what she had done, Allen and West-Allen assisted her in restoring the normalcy of the city and Ramon went to The Bentley Building for Kamilla. Ramon then bid farewell to Ralph after his extreme injury and to Harrison Wells, who chose to return to his original time period in 1996, reliving the life he cherished.[25]
God Complex[edit | hide]
Abra Kadabra's Return[edit | hide]
A week after the invasion, Ramon and Team Flash participated in the reconstruction and promoted the slogan "Central City Strong". On the next day, Ramon and Chester P. Runk were brought on site due to a murder case. Ramon then picked up a high amount of Temporal Energy and realized a time traveler was involved. Joe West later brought them to the body and found poker cards stabbed into it, revealing the murderer as Abra Kadabra. Ramon then informed Garcia about how Kadabra uses nanotechnology and calls it magic.[5]
When Ramon and Runk discussed the watch order of Star Wars and decided to watch it in machete order, the satellite detected high-energy levels and Ramon suited up on the field with The Flash and Frost. As Allen was cuffed by Kadabra's "misdirection", Ramon shot him with a Vibe blast, only to be redirected and was knocked unconscious until Frost arrived and arrested Kadabra. Ramon then talked to Allen about his anger towards A.R.G.U.S. taking away Kadabra and talked to Director Cooper about Kadabra's location. Chip was unable to understand Ramon's sarcasm and refused to answer as to if A.R.G.U.S. uses holograms.[5]
Later, Ramon was present when Allen told Team Flash about how new threats are arriving and Kadabra's death. Ramon then played Fortnite with Runk and was interrupted by Snow and Frost, who was separated from her host under unknown circumstances.[5] Ramon then brought them to the cortex to Allen and Iris West-Allen and surprised them.[26]
Nightmares of Central City[edit | hide]
Ramon and the team then discussed the reason of the separation and deduced the Mirror Gauntlet of Eva affected their bodies and split it for survival. The team later received an alarm and Ramon assisted Allen in a fight against Psych in the cortex.[26]
Allen was then brought back to S.T.A.R. Labs and treated by Snow, only to be interrupted again by Psych's robbery. Ramon was then brought with Frost to the office and utilized the Mental Dampeners. However, they were not strong enough and were destroyed by Psych, allowing him to plant "dreams" in their mind. Ramon then dreamed about his future, 40 years in the future, and he stills works in S.T.A.R. Labs while everyone had already moved on.[27] The team then returned to S.T.A.R. Labs, suffering from panic attack symptoms.[26] However, Ramon lied about his "dream" and claimed that it involved Kamilla in danger.[27]
Ramon later assisted Allen to enter Psych's force field and witnessed Allen's collapse in the cortex.[26]
Stuck in 1998[edit | hide]
Later, Ramon stayed in the Cortex and watched Allen in comatose. Ramon and Runk then presented the Isotopic Signal Amplifier to the team, soon went to Masonville to set up the device. However, Ramon and Runk were hit with a green wave of energy, with their modern technology except the amplifier disappeared. The duo then went to the town and realized they had been sent back to 1998. They then investigated the person who sent them back after detecting the identical Isotopic Signal when they were sent back.[4]
Ramon and Runk then went to Runk's former high school and interviewed several students. Their scanner then detected the same signal on Parker and quizzed him with movie references. However, he was able to respond to a reference to The Matrix, a film that was not yet released. Ramon then revealed his knowledge of the future, only to restart the day with a time loop and sent back to where they started.[4]
With the loop resetting, Ramon's mind reverted to his seven-year-old self and was fortunately restored by Runk's multiple references to Game of Thrones. They then realized that Runk was shielded by the scanner and that it was damaged. Later, they went to the Tech Station and attempted to buy the X-67 Power Convertor. However, it was bought by Runk's father, and they returned the school. They then discussed the convertor and Ramon motivated Runk to ask his father for the device. Ramon later stayed in the school while Runk went to the Runk House for the device.[4]
Runk then met Ramon back in the auditorium after acquiring the convertor and was attacked by Deon Owens, who was able to control time. Ramon then blasted him with a solar weapon, only for it to be erased from existence, leaving them unarmed. Runk then convinced Owens to stop, with the latter teleporting away for a different way to restore his own past and future. Ramon and Runk were then sent back to 2020, with them telling the story to their teammates and naming the Forces of Nature.[4]
Infiltration into CCPD[edit | hide]
After attending the trial of Frost, the team discussed their next step on protecting Frost. Despite Frost herself's multiple disapproval, Ramon, Snow and Garcia went to the precinct with an Inertial Oximeter and attempted to neutralize the Metahuman Cure in order to prevent the removal of Frost's powers under court order.[28]
Later, Ramon and Garcia were confronted by the team and were scolded by Frost for not caring for her opinion. Additionally, Kristen Kramer was informed about the infiltration and suspected Frost's doings, with Caitlin Snow standing up and claiming she did it and surprised Ramon.[28]
During the final trial, Ramon listened to Frost's speech about freedom and bid farewell to her as she left to life imprisonment.[28]
Return of Timeless Wells[edit | hide]
Days later, Ramon, Runk and Allen discussed the methods to prevent the Forces of Nature from being created and stop the Speed Force. He later returned and told Allen that he would always have his back.[29]
As they worked on the device, the team was approached by Deon Owens. Ramon and Runk were surprised by the choice Allen made and agreed to work with him on another method.[29]
While bidding farewell to Wells, Ramon was told that he should follow his choices and talked to Kamilla Hwang about moving away from Central City.[29]
Uncertainty[edit | hide]
Despite both agreeing to move away from Central City, Ramon had doubts about leaving and Kamilla asked him about his odd behavior. Ramon then told her that he has countless job opportunities across the United States but his dream of him in 30 years later while working as a tech support for the future generation of superheroes still scares him. Kamilla later comforted him and agreed to tell the team later on.[27]
Unforgiving Storm Ravages[edit | hide]
During the final showdown between the Forces of Nature, Allen was unable to convince Owens, he returned to S.T.A.R. Labs and Ramon and Runk informed him that their brainstormed methods will not be able to contain "Nora". Later, Allen returned once more and asked if "Nora" saying the storms are not her fault is accurate. Ramon and Runk confirmed her sayings and Allen changed his mind on fighting her, now choosing to talk her down.[30]
When the storm started forming a cyclone, Ramon and Runk informed the team that at a critical point, it would create a reversed Big Bang, wiping out not just the city. Thankfully, Allen was able to stabilize the cyclone and prevent an apocalyptic event from happening. Ramon, Kamilla, Runk and Garcia then went to CC Jitters, while gathering to share their recent events. As Kamilla talked to Ramon privately at his ear, Runk and Garcia were embarrassed and looked at each other, then quickly looked away.[30]
