Black Adam is a 2022 film based on the DC Comics character, Black Adam, the eleventh film in the DC Extended Universe, and a spin-off of Shazam!. It premiered on October 3, 2022, in Mexico City and premiered on October 21, 2022, in the United States.
The film stars Dwayne Johnson, Aldis Hodge, Noah Centineo, Sarah Shahi, Marwan Kenzari, Quintessa Swindell, Bodhi Sabongui, and Pierce Brosnan, and is directed by Jaume Collet-Serra and written by Adam Sztykiel, Rory Haines and Sohrab Noshirvani.
Synopsis[edit source]
Nearly 5,000 years after he was bestowed with the almighty powers of the Egyptian gods—and imprisoned just as quickly—Black Adam is freed from his earthly tomb, ready to unleash his unique form of justice on the modern world.[1]
