Titans is a web television series based on the DC Comics team, the Teen Titans.
The series is developed by Akiva Goldsman, Geoff Johns and Greg Berlanti. Greg Walker served as the showrunner and the first season premiered on October 12, 2018. The second season premiered on September 6, 2019, before the conversion of DC Universe into a digital comic subscription service. As a result, the third and later seasons were moved to HBO Max and the third season premiered on August 12, 2021. The fourth and final season premiered on November 3, 2022, and concluded Titans with a total of 49 episodes on May 11, 2023.[1]
Titans intended a spin-off Doom Patrol and was later confirmed to take place in a separate continuity on the Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover events. The event also placed Titans on Earth-9 with multiple characters making cameos through archive footage in the event. Additionally, a poster of the third season of Titans was seen in the Naomi episode Fallout. In season 4, the titular character of Stargirl and a version of Cyborg portrayed by Joivan Wade (who initially portrayed the character on Doom Patrol) made cameo appearances, with archive footage from The Flash, Swamp Thing, Shazam!, Teen Titans Go!, and archive audio from Harley Quinn, Batman: Classic TV Series, Smallville and Superman: The Movie being featured in the episode as well.
