- Tamaranean Physiology: Kory's Tamaranean physiology grants her a variety of superpowers.[2]
- Blue Light: After losing her "Starfire", Kory's abilities switched to generating a powerful blue light from her bare hands. While the blue light's exact nature is unknown, it was able to withstand magic and create nuclear fission.[10][11]
- Forcefield Generation: Kory has the ability to create a forcefield of energy, with her using it to lift the Lazarus Pit to the Gotham Plaza.[12]
- Psychic Link: Kory is mentally linked to her sister, who sent a series of messages in the form of dreams to seek help.[13]
- Regenerative Healing Factor: Kory was capable of healing quickly after being seared with laser.[14]
- Superhuman Durability: Kory's skin and body is able to withstand higher temperature and environment than humans do. Her solar energy absorption also charges her body without any damage despite its heat.[2]
- Superhuman Strength: Kory's Tamaranean physiology allows her to overpower average humans by using her tremendous strength. She was also shown to be able to damage a metal chain by pulling it apart.[2]
- Blue Light: After losing her "Starfire", Kory's abilities switched to generating a powerful blue light from her bare hands. While the blue light's exact nature is unknown, it was able to withstand magic and create nuclear fission.[10][11]

- Solar Energy Absorption: Originally born without powers, Kory's father ordered his subordinates to bestow Blackfire's powers to Kory in order to maintain his lie that Kory would become the next Queen of Tamaran.[15] Kory's body cells are miniaturized solar energy receptors which are able to harness the energy expulsions released by the Sun and convert the energy into usable forms.

- Hand-to-Hand Combat: Kory is skilled with self defense combats and overpower skilled assassins, such as the Nuclear Family.[16]
- Multilingualism: Kory is able to speak her native Tamaranean, English, German and Russia as well as Kryptonese.

- Energy Depletion: At night, Kory's body cells are unable to create a thermal blast properly, this will remain the same until Kory recharges under ultraviolet light.[16]
