“ | This is what we know: The world has grown dark, and while we have reasons to fear, we have the strength not to. There are heroes among us, to remind us that only from fear, comes courage. That only from the darkness, can we truly feel the light. | ” |

Justice League is a 2017 film based on the DC Comics team, the Justice League, the fifth film in the DC Extended Universe, and a follow-up to both Man of Steel (Film) and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. It premiered on November 13, 2017, in the Dolby Theatre and on November 17, 2017, in the United States.
The film stars Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher, Jeremy Irons, Diane Lane, Connie Nielsen, J.K. Simmons, and Ciarán Hinds. Zack Snyder directed the film in principal photography, though was replaced by Joss Whedon during post-production. The former retained his directing credit in the film, but it was reported that the final cut featured major reshoots by Whedon.[1] Justice League is written with screenplay by Chris Terrio and Joss Whedon, with story by Terrio and Zack Snyder.
Justice League received a controversial response, with fans pushing for the release of Snyder's original cut of the film, often referred to as the "Snyder Cut". The cut was eventually released on HBO Max in 2021, titled Zack Snyder's Justice League.
