The Vibe Gauntlets are a pair of gauntlets used by Cisco Ramon to control his powers.

After taking the Metahuman Cure Ramon created the Mecha-Vibe Gauntlets to replicate his former powers and return to the field.

History

First Gauntlets

After Flashpoint, the timeline was rebuilt and Cisco built the gauntlets in the new timeline to let him help Barry when he needs it. The gauntlets help Cisco to use his powers with more control.

Destruction

During the battle against Cicada, Cisco faked his death and the gauntlets were destroyed along with the glasses and the suit.

Second Gauntlets

The second gauntlets were used when Team Flash fought Icicle.

After Cisco decided to take the Metahuman Cure, he retired and put the gauntlets away.

During the Crisis, The Monitor returned the powers to Cisco and gave Cisco his gauntlets back.

Mecha-Vibe Gauntlets

In mid-2020, Cisco replicated his former powers into the gauntlets and fought as Vibe during the Invasion. He then continued to use the gauntlets and donned the name Mecha-Vibe, a name mentioned by Abra Kadabra, a time traveler from the 64th century.

• Power control: After Cisco first saw Reverb use Vibe blasts and then later himself accidentally used Vibe blasts while running away from Black Siren, Cisco tried to do it again but failed. Later, he built the gauntlets to help him control his powers. Additionally, the gauntlets can control the amount of energy his Vibe blasts will make.
