August Heart, also known as Godspeed, is the arch-nemesis of Impulse, an enemy of XS and The Flash.

In 2049, Heart injected himself with Velocity Serums and granted himself speedster abilities. He then used the alter ego "Godspeed" and fought Impulse and Nora West-Allen, later known as "XS".[5] Heart later created a sanctum and proclaimed himself as the "God of Speed".[6]
Sending Clones[edit | hide]
Months later, Heart started sending five Godspeed Clones throughout 2019 and 2020 in order to terrorize Central City as well as to steal The Flash's speed.[7]
Godspeed War[edit | hide]
Fractured Memories[edit | hide]
Later, Heart stayed in 2020 and witnessed a civil war between his clones. However, he lost his memories and had no idea who he was until Cecile Horton brought him to S.T.A.R. Labs and allowed Caitlin Snow to restore his memories.[5]

- Velocity Serums Enhanced Physiology/Speed Force Connection/Negative Speed Force Connection: Heart injected himself with Velocity Serums and granted himself with Speedster abilities.[1] Later, Heart demanded Barry to give him his organic speed and absorbed the energy.[2]
- Accelerated Healing Factor: Heart is able to heal from injuries in short time and at a higher rate than humans.[1]
- Accelerated Perception: Heart is able to perceive actions and words that appeared for a brief moment in time.[1]
- Bodily Vibration: Heart is able to vibrate at superhuman speed and create visual illusions. He is also able to use his vibrational energy in order to generate a sonic boom that is able to slow down his opponents and steal their speed.[1]
- Clones Creation: Heart was able to create clones from his own body and later reabsorb their speed in order to be faster than The Flash.[2]
- Electrokinesis: Heart produces white lightning when running at superhuman speeds.[1]
- Electrical Constructs: Heart is able to absorb lightning from the sky and construct a sword of lightning.[2]
- Intangibility: Also known as "phasing", by vibrating at the same frequency as air, Heart is able to go through solid objects.[1]
- Invisibility: Heart is able to vibrate at some point that he could appear invisible to others.[6]
- Speed Force Aura: Heart is protected by an aura of invisible energy, protecting him from burning due to extreme friction and from gravitational forces.[1]
- Speed Force Siphoning: Heart was able to create sonic booms and waves in order to siphon superhuman speed from The Flash's body.[2]
- Superhuman Durability: Heart is able to fight both XS and Impulse for a period of time with no visible injuries despite falling from a great height.[6]
- Superhuman Momentum: Heart is able to withstand extreme kinetic energy. He is also able to stop completely even running at a superhuman speed.[1]
- Superhuman Reflexes: Heart is able to respond to attacks quickly.[1]
- Superhuman Speed: Heart is able to run at the speed of light and fight XS with his superhuman speed.[1]
- Time Travel: Heart was able to travel back in time from 2049 to 2020.[5]
- Superhuman Stamina: Heart is able to run at extremely high speeds and thus has a high rate of metabolism without being out of breath.[1]
- Teleportation: Heart is able to teleport in the form of several bolts of white lightning.[2]
