Iron Heights Penitentiary (IHP) is an advanced and highly secured prison located in Central City equipped with Power-Dampeners on the Metahuman wing.

Rise of Metahumans[edit | hide]

Since the particle accelerator explosion, Iron Heights Penitentiary has been the default prison for rogue Metahumans apprehended by The Flash. As the original systems were incapable of handling Metahuman abilities, Iron Heights had soon installed Power-Dampeners at their specialized Metahuman wing.^[1]
