    Justice League (Earth-1: Pre-Crisis)

For other uses of Justice League, see Justice League (Disambiguation).

Look, you know the contingency plan. The Injustice Protocols were put into place for a reason, to protect the world when one of us goes rogue.

The Justice League,[1] or simply The League,[2] is a team of vigilantes dedicated to protecting Earth from terrestrial and extraterrestrial threats.

    History[edit | hide | hide all]

    Foundation[edit | hide]

Following the defeat of the Anti-Monitor during the Battle of Earth-Prime, The Flash decided to create the Justice League to combat future threats to the Earth. They held a private service in the Hall of Justice for the Green Arrow, who had sacrificed himself to create the New Multiverse, before officially forming the team.[3] At some point after this, Steel attempted to join the team, but he received no response.[4]

    Injustice Protocols[edit | hide]

Following a fight with Felix Faust, the team established the Injustice Protocols to take away the powers of a member who went rogue.[5]

    Black Lightning vs The Flash

During Armageddon, The Flash asked Black Lighting to meet him in the Hall of Justice[6] in order to take away his powers. After learning that he wanted his powers removing due to his supposed actions in the future, Jefferson insisted that they could still change the future and refused to do as Barry had asked. This resulted in a brief fight between the two, which only stopped after they accidentally destroyed Oliver Queen's memorial. This resulted in Jefferson admonishing Barry for not believing in himself in the way that Oliver had. Upon Despero's arrival at the Hall of Justice, Jefferson held him off while Deon Owens and Iris West-Allen explained to Barry that someone had altered the timeline to make him seem insane. Barry then travelled to the future to discover who had caused Armageddon.[5]

    War Against Heroes[edit | hide]

Following the defeat of Magog, several members of the Justice League met at the Hall of Justice to review Nora and Bart West-Allen's performance during the battle. The Flash then asked Spectre why they had to take charge of stopping Magog on their own, to which he responded that they must be prepared for a coming threat.[7]
