“ | Do you remember what you were like when we first met? 'Cause I do. You were petulant, stubborn. Every little thing pissed you off. You didn't want a father or a sister or a brother, but look at the man that you are now; the sensitive, intelligent, compassionate man that you have become, and it's not because of some mystical energy source out there. It's because you did the work. Now your responsibility is to continue to do the work to be that man. Do you understand me, son? | ” |

Biography
Early Life
Wallace "Wally" West was born to Joe and Francine West, and as the younger brother of Iris West.[7]

Soon afterward, West gained an organic connection to the Speed Force in an accident, becoming the Kid Flash of Central City. Eventually, he joined the Legends of Tomorrow and used the Totems of Zambesi with the other members to create a giant Beebo to defeat Mallus.[9]
Death
During the Crisis, West sacrificed himself to save Barry Allen from Outkast's antimatter energy beam.[6]
Death of the Speed Force
In 2020, West discovered that the Speed Force was not talking to him and returned to Central City to speak with Barry Allen. Later, both of them saw that the Speed Force was ill and West misunderstood what it told him and thought that Allen was the cause. Allen then asked what happened, and he told West that the Spectre's energy was killing the Speed Force. After he forgave Allen, and they teamed up and stopped Turtle II. Before he left, he told his father that something was wrong with his sister,[7] with Team Flash later realizing she was replaced by one of Eva McCulloch's reflections.[10]
