For other uses of Kid Flash, see The Flash (Disambiguation).

Do you remember what you were like when we first met? 'Cause I do. You were petulant, stubborn. Every little thing pissed you off. You didn't want a father or a sister or a brother, but look at the man that you are now; the sensitive, intelligent, compassionate man that you have become, and it's not because of some mystical energy source out there. It's because you did the work. Now your responsibility is to continue to do the work to be that man. Do you understand me, son?
    Joe West to Wally West[src]

Wallace Rudolph "Wally" West is a former drag racer and later a vigilante. In the Flashpoint timeline, he is the protector of Central City known as, The Flash. After Barry Allen and Eobard Thawne reset the timeline, West gained his speed from Alchemy and became the vigilante, Kid Flash.

Later, both of them saw that the Speed Force was ill and West misunderstood what it told him and thought that Allen was the cause. Allen then asked what happened, and he told West that the Spectre's energy was killing the Speed Force. After he forgave Allen, and they teamed up and stopped Turtle II. Before he left, he told his father that something was wrong with his sister,[13] with Team Flash later realizing she was replaced by one of Eva McCulloch's reflections.[21]
