The Time Police, often nicknamed as the Time Cops,[1] is an organization founded to protect the integrity of the timeline.

At some point, the Time Police recruited Eobard Thawne and Michael Carter, both being roguish time travelers. While providing strict instructions, they assigned them to Fixed Points in time, with both having the job of ensuring certain deaths.[2]
Toyman Fiasco[edit | hide]
Mistaking Winn Schott for his villainous Pre-Crisis self, the Time Police pursued Schott and claimed that he assassinated Chester Dunholtz in 2020. Thankfully, Schott was able to prove his innocence after working with the Super Friends and prevented the assassination from succeeding.[1][3]
Legends of Tomorrow[edit | hide]
When the Legends of Tomorrow were stranded in time and later evading Evil Gideon's pursuit, they attempted to break the Fixed Point of the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand. With the assistance of Eobard Thawne, they successfully attracted the attention of their android selves, hijacking their Waverider and putting Citizen Steel in Thawne's position.[4]

The chaotic war with Gideon attracted the attention of the Time Police, which later forced their fixer, Booster Gold, to lure the Legends on board the Waverider during another Fixed Point. Booster Gold was arrested alongside the Legends for time crimes, due to his attempt to escape when he realized that his job was meaningless.[5]
