Temporal Wormholes, also known as Temporal Gateways[1], Temporal Disruptions[2], Time Portals,[3] Exit Vectors,[4] Chrono-Dimensional Portals[5] and Time Holes,[6] are a series of wormholes that allow its users to travel across time.
History[edit | hide | hide all]
Original Multiverse[edit | hide]
In 2015, Eobard Thawne taught Barry Allen to open a wormhole for him to save his mother on March 18, 2000, as well as allowing Thawne to return to his home era. However, Barry was stopped by his future self and did not save his mother. He returned to the present and fought Thawne which resulted in Eddie killing himself, erasing Thawne out of existence. Despite winning the fight, the wormhole became unstable and turned into a Breach to Earth-2, coined Singularity by the citizens of Central City.[7][8]
In 2019, Barry was warned of the Crisis and tried to travel to December 11, 2019, a day after the event. As the multiverse had an uncertain future then, he hit an Antimatter wall and was ejected out of the Speed Force through a portal with minor injuries.[9]
On December 10, 2019, Jonathan Kent was sent away from Argo City during the Crisis. His pod eventually landed in Star City of Earth-16 in 2046. Querl Dox then revealed he travelled in a Breach and entered a Temporal Wormhole.[10]
New Multiverse[edit | hide]
In 2019, Rita Farr, Crazy Jane, and Cliff Steele travelled to a Time Capsule using Continuim in order to acquire the same material from Jonathan Tyme.[11]
