    Who's his new tailor? Satan?

The Reverse-Flash Suits are a series of protective suits used by Eobard Thawne as the Reverse-Flash.

    History[edit | hide | hide all]

    First Suit[edit | hide]

The original suit was bought back from 2151 when Eobard started to become the archenemy of The Flash. The same suit was later used during the Crisis of the erased timeline. During the fifteen years when Eobard was stranded in the past, it was stored in the Time Vault. After Barry gained his powers from the S.T.A.R. Labs Particle Accelerator explosion, Eobard used the suit again to fight The Flash.[1]

During the final battle against Eobard, Eddie shot himself in the chest causing his death and the timeline to change. As Eobard is a descendant of Eddie, he started to be erased out of existence and the suit followed him as well.[2]

    Spare Suit[edit | hide]

A spare suit was stored in the Time Vault and was used by Harry to trick Grodd.[3]

    Time Remnant Suit[edit | hide]

After Eobard was erased out of existence, a Time Remnant was created to protect the timeline, and he was on the hunt for the Spear of Destiny. The suit was also recreated along with Eobard's body.[4]

When Eobard is about to take away the Spear of Destiny, Black Flash arrived and killed Eobard, causing him to be erased out of existence again.[5]

    SS General Suit[edit | hide]

Some point after his existence being erased, a Time Remnant was created, and he went to Earth-X and gained New Reich's trust, and he was given a SS emblem to put on the suit in order for the residents of Earth-X to identify him as a SS General.[6]

    Flash Museum Suit[edit | hide]

After the Earth-X invasion and Barry released Eobard, he went to 2049 and was incarcerated in Iron Heights with the suit stored in the Flash Museum along with his ring. During his execution, the guard gave him the ring with the suit inside. As the timeline was changed by Nora West-Allen, he is no longer powerless, and he killed the guards. Later, he put on the suit and fought Team Flash.[7]

The suit was destroyed in the Crisis.

    First Suit (Again)[edit | hide]

In 2021, in order to defeat Godspeed, the Speed Force and Iris West-Allen connected to the Negative Speed Force and restored Eobard Thawne's physical body. The suit was restored and replicated the original suit from Earth-1.[8]

    Second Suit[edit | hide]

The second suit was created when Reverse Flashpoint was created. Barry Allen's Flash suit was replaced in his ring and was forced to wear the suit as the Reverse-Flash before the timeline was reset. Thawne then wore the suit as the Reverse-Flash and traveled to the Time Vault.[9]

    Negative Suit[edit | hide]

    Overview[edit | hide]

    Designs[edit | hide]

The first suit is a yellow leather uniform with black fading effect from the waist down and a dark belt with double red lightning bolts. The center of the suit consists of a black and red emblem with an inverted lightning bolt in red.[8]

The second suit kept the same color scheme of yellow and red with the black fading effect removed. The texture of the suit matches the upgraded Flash suits, with a more breathable material with black accents. The suit also consists of a pair of red boots and belt. The suit is stored in a ring for convenience.[9]

    Functions[edit | hide]

    • Identity Concealment: The suit consists of a yellow mask that covers the majority of Thawne's face, concealing his identity.[8]
    • Advanced Durability: To compensate Thawne's superhuman speed, the suits are able to withstand the heat caused by friction during the high-speed running.[8]
