Marcos Trachmann is a former mind control researcher that worked for Reuben Calderon.

Early Life[edit | hide]
At some point, Marcos Trachmann worked on a brain implant with a partner at Stanford, but after his partner died he disappeared.[2]
Day of the Dead Festival[edit | hide]
At the beginning of November 1990, during the event of the Day of the Dead Festival, Trachmann worked for Reuben Calderon in order to find Peter Paul Aguilar's daughter. He started by drawing graffities around the Hispanic neighborhood of Central City in order to lure the Flash into the local church. Once the Flash arrived, Calderon was used as a bait to distract him while Trachmann shot a tranquilizer that neutralized the Flash. Once this was achieved, Trachmann placed a mind control ship inside his brain in order to control him. He then used the mind controlled Flash by making him move all the saint statues of the church and thus causing fear in the local community who believed in magic. Later he argued with Calderon about the half a million salary as Calderon questions his technology liability, but Trachmann reminded him that he had everything under control as long as he had the Flash's eyes and hand. He then caused the Flash to destroy the Santero's shop to add more fear to the locals' mind. After successfully identified Aguilar's daughter, he staked her and the Flash real identity at their local restaurant and discovered that they were going to Star Labs. That night, he mind controlled the Flash again to kidnap Aguilar's daughter. He then called Aguilar after confirming that he had his daughter to force him to remove his testimony. He and Calderon made a deal to make the switch of his daughter's life at midnight during the Day of the Dead Festival but due to the Flash's presence in the manor, he made him ran away and stood still on the road. After implementing a mind control ship inside the girl's brain, he made her go with Calderon to the festival where he made her try to kill her father. Due to the Flash's interference, he used that opportunity to use him in order to bring Aguilar to Calderon. Trachmann then tried to program the Flash to kill Aguilar by painting the street with his blood but was unable to achieve this A fight happened which ended up with him hitting a junction box that put him into a comatose state. After Calderon's arrest, Trachmann was placed at the Central City Hospital.[2]

- Control Glove: Trachmann had an electronic glove he designed himself in order to control his victims.[2]
