An Unnamed man known as The Santero was the owner of the Botanica Chango shop and a believer of the spirit of Chango.[1]

Day of The Dead Festival[edit | hide]
In early November 1990, during the time of the Day of The Dead Festival, he was present at the crime scene the morning after an incident happened to the local church. When Barry Allen asked questions about the events at the church, the Santero told him that Chango's spirit. After Paloma told him to not listen to him because he is "crazy". The Santero warned her about what could happen if she behaved badly. Sometimes later, Barry and his colleague came to his shop to ask questions. Tough after realizing that they can't get anything from him due to his faith in his religion, they both left his shop. That night, he was attacked by a man in red whom he believed to be the spirit of Chango.
The following day, the police came to his shop, but he did not want to press charges against the "gods". He then went outside and gave a chicken foot to Paloma who threw it away and then ran. This caused him to blame Barry before he faint. Days later, The Flash will show up at his store and reveal that he was mind controlled and wanted to know any information regarding Paloma's disappearance. The Santero then told him that there is a person on the street who knew where Paloma was, and before he left, the Flash fixed his shop making the Santero happy. When Reuben Calderon was arrested, he was present at the Mexican restaurant to gave Barry a "love potion".[1]
