Star Labs was a research lab located in Central City. It was the main base of operations for The Flash during his time as a vigilante.

The Bad Reputation[edit | hide]
In 1989, David a Star Labs scientist discovered a special enzyme that can stimulate the human's brain and enhance his senses. David and his wife were ordered by the government to test the enzyme on human subjects, but because they refused, the government cut the funding of the lab until they agree to do tests. One morning, David's body was found by his wife in the lab dead for testing the enzyme on himself. David's death caused Star Labs to have a bad reputation and the government stopped digging on their work after they put Star Labs' funding back.[1]
Birth of The Flash[edit | hide]
In 1990, Tina McGee called Barry Allen in order to study his "cell damage" the Hospital gave her. The two agreed to meet the next morning. The next morning, Barry made some few test on treadmills in the lab but due to his extensive speed, the treadmill blew up. Days following the discovery of Barry's power, Tina and Barry decided to use the lab as a base of operation for his crusade against crime as the Flash.[1]
The Homeless Disappearance[edit | hide]
Weeks later, the lab Carl Tanner broke into the lab and photocopied David McGee's note in order to stabilize his serum. He then knocked out the new night guard and trapped him in a container in order to set up the Flash. Tanner later took McGee hostage in order to replicate his serum but had to face the Flash.[2]
The Fires[edit | hide]
The following week, Megan Lockhart disguised as an intern, infiltrated the lab in order to get information on the Flash. Days later, multiple goons of Thomas Castillo entered the building in order to assassinate Dr. McGee but were fooled by Lockhart who came to save her life.[3]
The Museum Theft[edit | hide]
Two months after Barry became the Flash, a group of thieves who were planning to steal the Death Mask of Rasputin, broke into Star Labs to steal some material for the robbery. The Flash intervened and knocked out one of the thieves and chased the others. But either way, another robber managed to steal the materials during the car chase.[4]
