“ | For months I've been afraid to listen to myself, to be me. I'm not gonna do it anymore. | ” |

Yolanda Montez is a student at Blue Valley High School and a waitress at Richie Rock's Diner. Montez is also the daughter of Juan and Maria Montez, and the sister of Alex Montez.
Montez was Courtney Whitmore's first recruit in the new Justice Society of America. She was given Ted Grant's suit and took on the mantle as Wildcat. The new JSA then worked closely together and investigated the Injustice Society of America's involvement with Blue Valley. During the final battle, Montez murdered Brainwave in revenge of killing Henry King Jr. Montez was guilted by her actions and allowed Eclipso to exploit her weakness, leading to her temporary resignation from the JSA.
However, Montez returned to question Whitmore's judgement on allying the JSA with Cindy Burman against Eclipso. She also donned the costume of Wildcat once more and continued to operate as a member of the team, claiming that she was merely keeping an eye on Cindy.
