Dr. Mary Hamilton, M.D.[10] is a medical student and the owner of Gotham City People's Clinic. Hamilton is also the daughter of Catherine Hamilton-Kane and the step-daughter of Jacob Kane, and the step-sister of Kate Kane.
Suspecting her step-sister's secret actions, Hamilton investigated her and discovered that Kate Kane is Batwoman. Hamilton immediately joined the Bat-Team as its medic and assisted Luke Fox in Batwoman's operations in Gotham. However, Kate was caught in a plane accident and was presumed deceased by many, Hamilton then worked with Ryan Wilder, who stumbled across the Batsuit and witnessed the accident by the beach.
Months later, Hamilton, Ryan and Luke worked together in search of Batman's missing trophies who were stolen by a brainwashed Kate Kane. In the process, Hamilton was kidnapped by Poison Ivy and was infected by one of her vines, slowly converting her behaviors into that of Pamela Isley. Hamilton's infection caught Alice's attention and intentionally triggered Hamilton's transformation into the Poison Ivy, before working together to escape Gotham City.
