Criminal Escapades

At some point, Edward Nigma became the criminal known as the Riddler and an enemy of Batman. He was later incarcerated in cell number 344 at Arkham Asylum. When John Deegan opened the cell doors at the asylum, Nigma was among those that attempted to escape, though he was quickly returned to his cell by The Flash. In 2019, Nigma was paid by Tommy Elliot to tell him Batman's secret identity, which he did in the form of a riddle.

At some point, Edward Nigma became the criminal known as the Riddler and an enemy of Batman. During one encounter, Nigma was defeated by Batman after a stand-off with the GCPD and was locked in Arkham Asylum. He also had a daughter named Evelyn Rhyme at some point in his life. In 2022, Alice asked various inmates in the Arkham Asylum cafeteria if the Joker had ever talked about his plan to rain acid down on Gotham City. Nigma then told her the plan in the form of a riddle.
