    Amaya Jiwe (Earth-1: Pre-Crisis)

For other uses of Vixen, see Vixen (Disambiguation).

Don't deny the animal. But don't let it control you either.
    — Amaya Jiwe[src]

Amaya Jiwe was the bearer of the Spirit Totem during the World War II period. With the totem, Jiwe operated as Vixen, a member of the covert Justice Society of America and later as a time travelling member of the Legends of Tomorrow. Jiwe was also the mother of Esi and the grandmother of Kuasa and Mari, both donning the name of "Vixen" by 2017 and honoring Jiwe's legacy.
