Project: New America was a plan concocted by the Injustice Society, to rebuild America.[1] The goal is to use Brainwave's ability to change the mind of every Americans on 6 states despite the possibility of killing twenty-five percent of them in the process.[2]

Eight years ago, Jordan's wife, Christine Mahkent died from an illness caused by an unknown toxin. Jordan vowed to get revenge on everyone you caused her illness, but she told him to continue his plan to rebuild America, and make it safe for their son. Jordan then vowed to continue Project: New America.[1]
On December 24, 2010, the Golden Age Justice Society of America died saving the world.[3] This can be assumed that they were killed foiling Project: New America.
In 2020, Courtney founded a new modern age JSA to get justice for the original JSA, and foil whatever the ISA has planned. Unknowingly at the time, to foil Project: New America.[1][4][5]
The project was placed on hiatus when Brainwave fell in a coma. Dragon King wanted to make Brainwave's son his replacement, but this was changed when he woke up.[6]
After multiple encounter against the ISA, the new JSA found out that the project consist of rewriting the mind of hundred million Americans despite the average lost of twenty-five percent.[2] After killing most of the ISA members, Stargirl destroyed the wave emitter putting an end to the mind control device before it killed more people. The news covered the story as an earthquake that caused a malfunction in a weather satellite.[7]
