Synopsis
After years of training, Kate Kane returns to Gotham to become a member of her father Jacob's security team, the Crows. Batman disappeared three years ago, and Gotham is just now beginning to adjust to his absence. Notes
- David Nutter was supposed to direct the episode, but stepped down for personal reasons and was replaced by Marcos Siega. He did, however, serve as an executive producer for the episode.[2]
- "Twinkle twinkle little bat, how I wonder where you're at" can be seen etched on the wall at the Burnside Orphanage. This is a reference to the lullaby Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star and the disappearance of Batman.
- Mary referred to herself as the Meredith Grey of Sherwood Forest, which is a reference to both Grey's Anatomy and the tales of Robin Hood.
- The film that was playing in Robinson Park was The Mark of Zorro, which is notable for being the film in the comics that the Wayne family watched before Thomas and Martha's murder.
