Thomas Wayne was a billionaire businessman and philanthropist, the husband of Martha Wayne and the father of Bruce Wayne.

Life and Death[edit source]
Thomas Wayne was born in Gotham City into the wealthy Wayne family.[1] He later married Martha Kane and the pair had a son named Bruce Wayne.
One night, Thomas and Martha were murdered during a mugging, an event which left Bruce as the traumatised sole survivor.[2]
Legacy[edit source]
Thomas and Martha's deaths inspired Bruce to become the vigilante known as Batman in honour of them.[2]
