Joseph Carver was the CEO of McCulloch Technologies and the leader of the criminal organization Black Hole.

Early Life[edit | hide]
At some point, Joseph Carver became the CEO of McCulloch Technologies alongside his wife, Eva McCulloch that he would latter abandon in the Mirrorverse the day the particle accelerator explode.[3][1]
Black Hole[edit | hide]
At some point, he became the leader of Black Hole.[3]
In 2020 when Central City Citizen reporter Iris West-Allen was working on a story that involve a "criminal organization" that works inside of McCulloch Tech, Carver met Iris her source which was Gene Huskk an ex-employee unstable that believed in a larger conspiracy. Despite his effort to make Iris believe that she was wrong Iris still decided to publish the article and Carver sued the Central City Citizen for "defamation" and denied his involvement with Black Hole. Later, Iris would met up with Carver after he sent an assassin to kill her. Iris Blackmailed Carver into calling off his assassin or a death-switch would cause half of the truth about his involvement about being Black Hole would be exposed. He then told the media that he was dropping the lawsuit.[3]
Weeks later, Carver would hire Sunshine to steal the prismatic refractor from Mercury Labs despite her effort she was captured.[4]
Joe West[edit | hide]
The next week, his assistant Maurice Bumblefeather informed Carver that their source inside the precinct confirmed that Sunshine hasn't revealed anything about his involvement and Carver hired Rag Doll to assassinate Joe West. Later, Joe West came to his place and managed to make Carver unwillingly confess that he was the one that hired Rag Doll to assassinate him. When West revealed that he was recording his voice, Carver used his EMP watch to emit a local pulse that destroyed the recording. After Carver threatened West's family, he got punched by West causing his security to enter the room and West left the house. That night, when Maurice Bumblefeather informed him that West was placed under witness protection, he also informed him that someone brought him a present. He was surprised to see that McCulloch was the present through a mirror. After an argument about their vision for humanity, Carver broke the glass and told McCulloch that he was untouchable.[2]
Death[edit | hide]
The following week, Carver was talking with Maurice Bumblefeather at CC Jitters about the warehouse incident where all their dirt he had on the manipulated Metahumans were destroyed. Carver noticed Barry Allen who came to him. Carver revealed that he knew that Iris was stuck inside the Mirrorverse due to a camera footage weeks ago. Allen told him that McCulloch was going after him and revealed that he was aware that the warehouse was purposely put on fire. Later, Carver contacted Kimiyo Hoshi, Esperanza Garcia and Millie Rawlins to protect him at his house but when he arrived, he found evidence of a fight and he deduced that McCulloch took care of his assassins. Carver would then go to the Precinct to tell Allen that he changed hi mind and wanted some federal protection. When they were about to get out, Chief Singh arrived and told him that he would escort him personally. After Singh had a talk to Allen, Nash Wells teleported them back to S.T.A.R. Labs and told him that he saved his life. They revealed to Carver that McCulloch had the ability to create mirror duplicate to track him and Carver asked how much would Well's gauntlet cost but go insulted. He then revealed that McCulloch Tech security could protect them and that he posses a biogenic ionization field that can protect them from anything that goes through. Later that night, at Carver safe room, they evacuated McCulloch Tech and before they could do anything, the power shut down due to his former assassins betrayal. Carver send Allen to activate the power backup and while he was watching the fight, McCulloch came trough the reflection of the TV. McCulloch then shattered the glass and used it to kill Carver only for the Flash to take the hit. McCulloch eventually phase the glass through the Flash body and hit Carver killing him. Sue Dearbon would later be framed for Carver's murder.[1]

- Business Acumen: Carver was a good businessman as he was able to successfully run McCulloch Technologies in his wife's absence.[3]
