Kimiyo Hoshi, nicknamed Doctor Light by Team Flash, is a Black Hole assassin.

Early Life[edit | hide]
At some point, she became an astronomer in Tokyo known by Cisco Ramon to the point she appeared in his "Who's Who Binder".[2]
Targeting Iris West-Allen[edit | hide]
After murdering a man, Black Hole sent her a photo of her next target: Iris West-Allen. While Iris was at the Central City Citizen Media, Kimiyo attempted to assassinate her but failed. Though she managed to inflict a severe injury on her whilst she was escaping. She then attempted to once again attack kill Iris while she was meeting her informant that she execute. She would later be contacted by her employer Joseph Carver in order to make sure she would assassinate Iris. She then sneak inside the West house only to realize that "Iris" is an hologram and is ambushed by Joe West and frost. She manage to incapacitate both Frost and Joe but before she cold kill Frost, Carver calls her and order her to cancel the hit and as someone who obey orders she left.[2]
Arañas[edit | hide]
When Hoshi left McCulloch team, she joined Allegra Garcia's former criminal group known as the Arañas alongside Sunshine. The two of them would spend the next year orchestrating several high stakes heists and order their operatives to kill anyone they came across. When a former member named Lydia Sanchez asked Garcia for help in exposing them, Hoshi and Rawlins hunted Garcia and Sanchez at the CCC Media in an attempt to kill then to avoid exposure. In the end, they were both exposed to the public, the Arañas were disbanded and Hoshi and Sunshine went into hiding with the threat to Garcia that this was not over and that they would be back someday.[1]

Powers[edit | hide]
- Metahuman physiology: Kimiyo is a Metahuman meaning she has powers out of the ordinary.[2]
- Photokinesis: Due to her metahuman powers, Kimiyo has the ability to shoot out extremely bright star light. She is capable to use her light based powers in order to power her Photon Blast.[2]
Abilities[edit | hide]
- Marksmanship: Kimiyo is skilled in the use of guns, she was able to use her photon blaster with ease to eliminate her target.[2]
- Stealth: Kimiyo has the skills in stealth and tracking. She was able enter the West house to kill "Iris" without being caught.[2]
- Bilingualism: Kimiyo is fluent in both English and Japanese.[2]

- Photon Rifle: Kimiyo is capable to use her metahuman ability to power her photon blaster in order to make it more lethal.[2]
