Jennifer "Jen" Pierce is the daughter of Black Lightning and later his vigilante partner, known as Lightning.

When Jennifer Pierce was 6 years old, her father lost her in a grocery store when they were picking fruit as she does not like squishy fruits. Jefferson then found her behind a magazine rack.[13]

- Electrokinesis: Inheriting her father's powers, Pierce is able to control electricity.
- Electricity Absorption: Pierce is capable of absorbing electrical energy from devices into her body, charging herself. By absorbing energy in the Ionosphere, Pierce can also heal her body. However, overloading can lead to her body being unstable, eventually exploding.
