Alvin Pierce was a reporter and the father of Jefferson Pierce.

At some point, Alvin Pierce had a child named Jefferson Pierce. By 1991, Alvin was working as a reporter when he attempted to expose the crimes committed by Tobias Whale. Tobias discovered his intentions and beat him to death at his home as a result, an event which was witnessed by his son.[5]
