The other Wells may be gone, but they left an imprint, memories, and so let me just say that, whatever is wrong... Let me help you because they would want me to.
    — Timeless Wells to Barry Allen[src]

Dr. Harrison Wells is a scientist and the founder of S.T.A.R. Labs in an erased timeline.

    Original Multiverse[edit | hide | hide all]

    Biography[edit | hide]

    Early Life[edit | hide]

Harrison Wells resided on Starling City and became a scientist. At some point, he got married to Tess Morgan and both planned on creating a research facility.[2]

    Death[edit | hide]

After Eobard Thawne murdered Nora Allen, Thawne followed Wells and eventually caused a car crash which led to the death of Morgan. Wells later climbed out of the car and faced Thawne. Thawne told him about his legacy and used a device to steal his appearance. Later, his corpse was buried and Thawne disguised as him until Team Flash found out his true identity.[2]

    Early Life[edit | hide]

In 1996, Harrison married Tess Morgan and spent four years with her until her ultimate death in 2000.[1]

    Resurrection[edit | hide]

    The Resurrection

In 2000, Harrison Wells was killed by Eobard Thawne and his identity was stolen by the latter. Wells was then buried on the side of the road.[3]

Later, his body was formed by a series of green particles and was resurrected.[3]

    Assisting Team Flash[edit | hide]

Time travelled to 2020 with his Pre-Crisis doppelgängers' memories merged into him, Wells arrived in S.T.A.R. Labs and was informed by Barry Allen that he survived due to the Crisis. He then convinced Allen to work on repairing his speed and fight Eva. Wells then met Garcia, who mistook him as Nash. Wells then told her that Nash thought very highly of her and met the other members of the team, telling them that he is the original Wells.[1]

Wells then explained how he is able to arrive in S.T.A.R. Labs 2020 and confused the team. He then deduced that the Speed Force is an elemental force in the universe and is simply deactivated, instead of being "dead". Wells then assisted the reactivation to the Speed Force and allowed Allen to regain his speed.[1] During the process, Wells saw his future self with Barry Allen on the side of the machine, greeting them with a nod.[4]

    Going Home[edit | hide]

    Wells in 2000

After helping Team Flash on their battle, Wells bid farewell to Cisco Ramon and Garcia, time travelling back to 1996 and reliving the four years he had with his wife, Tess Morgan, over and over again. He then told Ramon that he and Kamilla Hwang would have a similar future, before he disappears into a series of green particles.[1]

    Lending a Helping Hand[edit | hide]

In the year 2000, Wells was living in a residence with Morgan in Starling City Beach. He was then approached by Allen (from 17 days after the defeat of Mirror Monarch), who asked for his assistance to erase the Forces of Nature created when they reactivated the Speed Force.[4]

Wells and the team brainstormed ideas to erase the forces without damaging the timeline. Wells then informed the team that he has the ability to preserve the timeline and prevent any alterations to it. The team agreed to this method and built the Particle Harness Collector. However, they were interrupted by Deon Owens, who was drawn to S.T.A.R. Labs. Wells, Ramon and Runk then acted too friendly out of fear and Wells introduced himself as a visitor to the facility. Owens froze the time and talked to Barry while aging the device 1,000 years older. Luckily, Runk placed the critical collection piece in his pocket and was able to rebuild the device quickly. Ramon then told them that he think their methods were wrong, and they should continue without him.[4]

Wells and Allen back in time

Later, Ramon returned and assisted the rebuilding, promising Allen that he will always have his back. Wells and Allen then time travelled 17 days earlier during the reactivation of the Speed Force. They witnessed the lightning bursting out of the machine. They were then noticed by Wells' younger self, who greeted them with a nod, with the older Wells nodding back and telling Allen that he remembers this moment. Allen sped Wells to the roof and activated the device. He slowly walked into the bolts of lightning and absorbed the elemental particles, seemingly erasing the Still, Sage and Strength Force. As Allen returned to Wells, he kneeled on the ground and shed a tear, with Wells asking him whether he was fine. Allen slowly stood up and destroyed the device, releasing the particles and restoring the forces' existence. As the team in the present days struggles to figure out why their plan failed, Wells and Allen returned and told that they were right, and the method was immoral.[4]

Once again assisting Team Flash, Wells bid farewell to Ramon after telling him how he taught the Harrison Wellses of the Multiverse as much as they did to him and to follow his heart, inspiring him to go with Kamilla Hwang to San Francisco.[4]
