All right Allen! Get back to work!
    — Warren Garfield to Barry Allen[src]

Lt. Warren Garfield was a CCPD lieutenant[1] and the leader of the resistance in an erased future.[2]

    Biography[edit | hide | hide all]

    Early Life[edit | hide]

At some point during his youth and his career as a police officer around 1955, he met and befriended Desmond Powell.[3]

    The Homeless Disappearances[edit | hide]

In 1990, he was approached by father Michael who reported some strange homeless disappearances around the City, but Garfield refused to start an investigation based on a rumor he then told Allen the same, but he also added that it's also a problem of manpower. The next day, his intention was brought by a homeless protest that turned into a riot inside the precinct he told father Michael who was responsible for the protest to stand back and get out of there before he would change his mind and arrest him. When Allen asked him if he could take the case, he told him that he could.[1]

    The Fires[edit | hide]

The next week, after Arthur Simonson's trial where the verdict made him not guilty, he argued with the DA Thomas Castillo about how he was responsible from letting him go free. But Castillo told him that his officers didn't do their job correctly despite their efforts.[4]

Day of the Dead Festival[edit | hide]

In early November 1990, during the beginning of the day of the dead festival, an incident occurred in the Hispanic part of Central City at the local church that involved the saints statues moving and blocking the circulation. Garfield heard the claim of Father Becerra about the incident, but did not believe what he heard claiming that it was "nuts". He then called Julio and Barry to see what they thought those strange events.[5]
