Nicholas V. Pike[2] is a rogue police officer turned criminal and the nemesis of The Flash.

Early Life[edit | hide]
At some point, Nicholas Pike was a CCPD motorcycle patrol, and he wrote a book about it.[2]
At some point, he started to work on an illegal operation such as narcotics and explosives but his partner Jay Allen discovered his activities around 1987 and set him up on Highway 61. When Pike got chased, his motorcycle crashed and burned his face giving him a scar. Weeks later, he escaped from a prison hospital after being dishonorably discharged from police.[2]
Pike vs. Flash[edit | hide]
In 1990, Pike became the leader of the Dark Riders and started to cause chaos in Central City. He started to rob Central City Armory and murdered the guard. Later, at their lair, his girlfriend Lila exposed a traitor that was about to escape with the money and sentenced him to death. The next day, he and the others robbed Central City Mall, but a sample of his hair was dropped during the robbery. The following day,during the speech of the police chief Arthur Cooper where he introduced to the city the new motorcycle patrol that would bring down the Dark Riders, the Dark Riders launched an attack on the precinct and marked their territory to humiliate the police.
Later, when he watched their action on TV, Pike recognized the head of the motorcycle patrol to be his former partner Jay Allen. When Jay and his patrol squad on patrol on highway 61, Pike planned his revenged by setting up an ambush like Jay did years ago but only this time Jay would be the victim and Pike managed to kill him during the ambush. The following night, he sent his goons and his girlfriend to rob Central City Chemical to create more bio-bombs, but this plan failed due to the intervention of a a red phantom which lead to the arrest of most of the members. Angered, Pike then successfully stage a prison escape but the policed blocked all issues and after noticing that tear gas was thrown in the air conduct, Pike took a mask and abandoned his girlfriend. While he managed to escape in the sewers, the red phantom showed up but due to his metabolism, he failed to stop Pike and Pike punched him and push him off a hole. Believing to be free from this vigilante, Pike ran out of the prison, but The Flash caught up to him and tied him up to an electrical barrier leaving him to be arrested by the police.[2]
