    Dr. Shiro Ito was an Imperial Japanese scientist who created horrific weapons that contributed to the death of millions. Ito was later executed and resurrected with experiments of his own, transforming himself into a scaled individual, later known as the Dragon King. As the Dragon King, Ito joined the Injustice Society of America and became one of the most dangerous foes of the Justice Society of America.

    Shiro Ito was born in 1901 in Japan. He became a scientist and a member of the Japanese Military who was active in the 1940s and 50s. During that time, he created a number of weapons, such as Bacilli bombs that spread plagues throughout China in 1932 and 1933. He was eventually captured and was believed to have been executed on March 13, 1947.[2]

    Thanks to his experiments on himself, Ito was able to survive his execution and soon joined the villainous Injustice Society of America. During his time as a villain, Ito transferred the Ultra-Humanite's brain into the body actor Delores Winters and subsequently an albino gorilla.[1] Ito also fought against the Seven Soldiers of Victory on numerous occasions, once utilizing a living weapon that he had designed to eradicate New York.[5]
