Father Michael is a priest and an old friend of Jay Allen.

Early Life[edit | hide]

At some point, Father Michael became a friend of Jay Allen to the point where he also came to know Jay's brother.^[2]

The homeless disappearances[edit | hide]

In 1990, Father Michael went to the precinct to report some strange disappearances of homeless. There he met Barry Allen who recognized him as a friend of Jay. Despite insisting, Lt. Warren Garfield refused to start an investigation "based on rumors". Later, Father Michael organized a protest at the precinct with the homeless community that quickly escalated into a riot when one of them took a weapon. After that, the riot was calmed down and that Allen took the case, Michael introduced them to two homeless witnesses: Sam and Charlie Wright. The two gave some info about one of them found dead before disappearing. Later, when Allen managed to retrieve the corpse of Sam that was mutated, Michael came to thank Allen for finding a corpse and thus causing the police to start an investigation. Later, Michael and Allen were talking inside the homeless alley about how Wright lost everything to end up on the street. Michael gave him the basic story about how it all happen and Allen agreed to help him.^[2]

Wayne Cotrell's execution[edit | hide]

Weeks later, he went to Wayne Cotrell's cell to obtain his confession before his execution, but Cotrell stated that he was innocent and that he has nothing to confess. Later, at the execution chamber, Cotrell was about to be executed, but the Flash showed up and released him. Michael stopped the guards that were about to shoot the Flash. The Flash revealed that Linda Lake was alive and Cotrell's conviction was wrong. Cotrell's brother Elliott then took a gun but was apprehended by the Flash.^[3]

Despite to have never seen the the Flash, before Beat the Clock, Michael trusted him with his instinct to make sure the guards didn't shoot him.
- This could be interpreted as the saint priest that knows how to recognize the good in people.
