Sam (died 1990) was a homeless man and friend of Charlie Wright.[1]

In 1990, Sam and Charlie were standing near a fire in a homeless space went someone screamed. He and Charlie checked it out only to witness their friend Jack mutated and die from an heart attack. They would later inform a police patrol car that were near by and when they arrived at the crime scene, the body of Jack disappeared and the officers believed that it was a prank. One night, he passed near Dr. Carl Tanner and Tina McGee and asked for money and Tanner gave him $20. Days later, during a protest at the precinct organized by father Michael Sam participated to the protest with Charlie in order for their voices to be heard. After a riot caused by one of them that took a weapon, Sam and Charlie were interrogated by Barry Allen and Julio Mendez about the homeless disappearance. After Sam and Charlie revealed the death of their friend a few nights ago, they left the precinct. Nights later, Sam was approached by a man that injected him a serum that mutated Sam until he died from an heart attack. Before he died, he was found by the Flash and his corpse would later be brought to the morgue.[1]
