Metropolis, stylized as the City of Tomorrow, is a city located south of Happy Harbor and New York City and is on the northeastern part of the East Coast of the USA.[2]

- In Marathon, Metropolis is shown to be located around the area of Delaware on Cisco Ramon's map. This was later contradicted in Rayo de Luz, with Metropolis being clearly shown in the state of New York. Given the fact that the former is a hand-drawn map and the latter is a digital map, the information of the latter appears to be more believable and accurate.
