Daily Planet Attack[edit | hide]
At some point, an otherwise unnamed man was born in Gotham City and grew up to become the criminal known as the Joker. Feeling that the Daily Planet was not covering him enough, the Joker travelled to Metropolis and deployed a toxic gas at their headquarters, killing at least forty-eight people and injuring dozens more. Among those that were killed included Lois Lane and many other friends of Clark Kent, causing him to lose more than any mortal man could endure.[1]
