    — Joker to Batman[src]

The Joker is an infamous crime boss based in Gotham City and an enemy of the vigilante Batman. He is also the ex-boyfriend of Harley Quinn.

    Biography[edit | hide | hide all]

    The Clown Prince[edit | hide]

At one point, the Joker was locked in Arkham Asylum, where he managed to make Dr. Harley Quinn fall in love with him. With the psychiatrist's help, he broke out of the asylum with the help of his goons after shocking her. Later, Joker would bring her to Ace Chemicals where she would jump into a vat of chemicals to prove her love to him. This would cause her to turn crazy and eventually become his accomplice known as "Harley Quinn".[1]

On October 13, 2014, Joker and Harleen were driving around town after a trip to a strip club when Batman started chasing them. The car would eventually fall into a river where Joker would escape, leaving Harleen, who was unable to swim, to be arrested.[1]

    Harley's Imprisonment[edit | hide]

In 2016, Joker's henchman Jonny Frost informed him that Harleen was imprisoned in Belle Reve. At the news, the Joker and Frost went to find Hunter Griggs, the captain of Belle Reve, and tortured him to get information on his girlfriend's whereabouts. They learned Harleen had been assigned to Task Force X who were currently on a mission. He then ordered him to deliver a phone to her for communication between the two.[1]

With the information, Joker and his goons broke into the A.R.G.U.S. facility that fabricated the bombs planted inside Task Force X's members' heads and disarmed them. Later, Joker would steal an army chopper and save Harleen with it. However, while escaping, their helicopter was shot down by A.R.G.U.S. which left Harleen as the only known survivor. Soon after Harley was re-imprisoned in Belle Reve, the Joker and his gang broke Harleen out.[1]

At some point between August 9, 2016, and 2020, Joker broke up with Harleen which led to the latter destroying ACE Chemicals.[5]
