Commissioner James Worthington "Jim" Gordon is the current commissioner of the Gotham City Police Department. Gordon is the son of Peter Gordon and an unnamed woman, the husband of Leslie "Lee" Thompkins and the father of Barbara Lee Gordon, who is also the daughter of Gordon's ex-fiancée, Barbara Kean.
