The Fountain of Imperium is an ancient fungal network that kept Earth safe from invasive aliens for eons. As humans did not understood its origin, they considered the fountain an alien mystical object.

Biography[edit | hide | hide all]

Life on Earth[edit | hide]

At some point, the Fountain of Imperium arrived on Earth and landed in Odessa, Texas, where it spent years protecting the planet from hostile aliens.^[2]

Legends of Tomorrow[edit | hide]

In 1925, the Legends from 2021 arrived to prevent John Constantine from his thirst for power. Bishop took the opportunity to trick Constantine and deceived him into taking a serum that supposedly considered him worthy for the power. However, the serum was created to poison both Constantine and the Fountain, which killed both in the process before sending Spooner to 2000 in order to ensure her safety.^[1] Fortunately, the Fountain's spiritual form survived and used Constantine's soul in order to keep itself alive, subsequently preventing Spooner from dying. Despite the Legends asking Bishop's younger self to create an antidote, the Fountain did not deem humans worthy for its protection. During the Zaguron invasion, Sara Lance and Ava Sharpe's marriage proved the worthiness of humans while the Fountain incinerated the hostile invaders.^[2]

In February 1939, the Fountain dried up and the younger self of Constantine searched for it. However, it did not consider him worthy and decided to absorb the power given to Fernando months prior, which Constantine attempted to take.^[3]
