Evergreen Police Department (Evergreen PD) is the principal law enforcement agency of the city of Evergreen, Washington.

History

Peacemaker's Return

Detective Song and Fitzgibbon at the complex

In January 2022, the Evergreen Police Department was called to handle a possible explosion in Wild Estates Apartment Complex. They discovered the remains of Annie Sturphausen and began pursing the suspect, Christopher Smith. Unfortunately, they were unable to locate him until they reached the Calcaterra apartment, who was later bribed by Leota Adebayo to identify the suspect as Auggie Smith. During the process, Peacemaker was able to escape through the window and dodge the police pursuit.

Detective Sophie Song and Larry Fitzgibbon then ran the fingerprints at the scene and cross-referenced it with those in the database, not knowing that had been tampered to be identical to Auggie Smith's. The detectives then arrested Smith at his residence. Afterwards, Peacemaker revealed the truth to Smith and angered him, causing him to demand Song to double check the fingerprints. She scanned to the initial prints and compared it to the one in the system, noticing major differences. However, Caspar Locke replaced Miele as captain, shutting down Song's investigation. Unbeknownst to him, she persisted and went to Judge William Judy for an arrest warrant for Peacemaker. a result, Song led a squad to Peacemaker's trailer and chased him, only for her to be possessed by the Queen of Butterflies.

Later that night, Song led an army of Butterflies to the uptown precinct and allowed them to possess individuals in the building, police officers and prisoners alike. While the department was controlled by the aliens, they issued a statement after revealing a falsified diary of Christopher Smith, ordering all law enforcement agencies to pursue and apprehend Peacemaker at all cost.

On the next day, Song led a squad to the Overview Lofts Suites and demanded information from "Clemson Murn", who refused and was shot three times in the chest by Song. The Butterfly in his head then attempted to escape, though was immediately captured and squished to death by Song.
