Detective Larry Fitzgibbon was a police detective in the Evergreen Police Department and the partner of Sophie Song.
Biography[edit | hide | hide all]
Explosion at Evergreen[edit | hide]
In 2022, Larry Fitzgibbon went to Wild Estates Apartment Complex with her partner Sophie Song and investigated the explosion at the location, showing suspicion over the explosion. He then led the officers to interview the residents and was unsuccessful, though saw the suspect escaping.[1]
Afterward, Fitzgibbon and Song attempted to arrest Auggie Smith as his fingerprints were found at the scene. They later also discovered that Evan and Amber Calcaterra saw the face of the suspect and asked them to identify him. Unfortunately, both were bribed by Leota Adebayo and identified the suspect to be Auggie once more. The detective duo then arrested him and placed him at Charlton County Corrections Center.[1]
Peace[edit | hide]
Despite initially arresting Auggie Smith, Song still held suspicions when he claimed his son was the true cause of the explosion. Fitzgibbon and Song took Auggie's fingerprints and cross-referenced with that of the scene, discovering that they do not match. However, the department did not arrest him as the ones in the records matched Auggie's, placing him back into prison.[4]
Hunting Peacemaker and Butterflies[edit | hide]
Ignoring Captain Locke's orders, Fitzgibbon and Song went to get an arrest warrant and raided Peacemaker's trailer. However, Song suffered a seizure, though unbeknownst to Fitzgibbon, was infected by a Butterfly. They then returned to the precinct, with Fitzgibbon worrying Song's conditions. Song smiled at him and claimed that she was fond of her, confusing Fitzgibbon. Eventually, Song led a group of Butterflies into the precinct. Fitzgibbon attempted to flee, but was unfortunately infected by one of the Butterflies.[2]
Death[edit | hide]
The body of Fitzgibbon was killed by Vigilante in the end, with an axe chopped on his skull and killing the Butterfly within.[3]

- Butterfly Physiology: When Fitzgibbon was possessed by a Butterfly, he acquired exceptional abilities.[2]

- Investigation: As an experienced police detective, Fitzgibbon possessed exceptional investigation skills and was able to utilize them in search of Peacemaker.[4]
- Marksmanship: As a police detective, Fitzgibbon was issued standard firearms and utilized them proficiently.[4]
