The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) is a federal law enforcement agency responsible for combating drug trafficking.

Central City Drug Trade[edit | hide]
In the early 1980s, drugs began to be mass-produced in Central City, which garnered the attention of the DEA. In November 1990, Peter Aguilar infiltrated the cartel responsible and identified drug lord Reuben Calderon as its leader. He was scheduled to testify against Calderon, but was forced to delay the case after his daughter was kidnapped by Marcos Trachmann. While attempting to make a trade for his daughter at the Day of the Dead Festival, she was rescued by The Flash, resulting in Aguilar arresting Calderon.[2]
