In 2009, a college student approached a young Cat Grant and talked to her about how she could influence countless women. She also convinced Grant to quit the Daily Planet's gossip section, and she proceeded to do so, which allowed her to start her own news media conglomerate, CatCo with a pink cougar as the logo at the time.[2]

    New Leadership[edit | hide]

    CatCo under new management

In 2018, Lena Luthor bought CatCo and led the company to success. In late 2019, the company was sold to Obsidian North under the leadership of Andrea Rojas and continued to strive for success.[6]

    CatCo Strikes Again[edit | hide]

In January 2020, CatCo was invited to cover the story of Lex Luthor's award ceremony.[7]

In mid-2020, CatCo exposed the evil agenda of Lex Luthor and was free from Obsidian North's ownership due to its bankruptcy after the Obsidian Platinum fiasco.[8]
