Adam Hunt - his crimes go deeper than fraud and theft, but he's been able to bully, bribe, or kill anyone who's gotten into his way. He hasn't met me yet.
    Oliver Queen on Adam Hunt[src]

Adam Hunt was a corrupt land baron and the former CEO of Hunt Multinational. He was killed by the Dark Archer when he was tying up loose ends for the Undertaking.

    Biography[edit | hide | hide all]

    Illegal Business Dealings[edit | hide]

At some point, Adam Hunt became a corrupt land baron and the CEO of Hunt Multinational. He used this position to commit several crimes which included swindling hundreds of people out of their homes and life savings.

His actions later came to the attention of the City Necessary Resources Initiative who filled a class-action lawsuit against him in late 2012 which was headed by Laurel Lance. Hunt then tried to get the charged dropped by ensuring that Judge Grell was presiding over the trial as he had donated large amounts of money to Grell's re-election campaign.[2]

Encounter with The Hood[edit | hide]

While walking to his limousine, Hunt ordered one of his security guards to warn Grell that he would be turned into a "a cautionary tale" if he didn't take care of the allegations against him and to fix the situation with Laurel Lance. After the security guard left, Hunt was attacked by a vigilante who shot one of the guards. The other guard then rushed Hunt into the limousine before also being shot. Hunt was then pulled through the window out of the car, with the vigilante then demanding that he transfer $40 million into Starling Citizens Bank account 1141 by 10PM tomorrow night, or he would take it himself. He then began to walk away, at which point Hunt threatened to kill him if he ever saw him again. In response, the vigilante shot an arrow through the limousine's window before vanishing out of sight.

The next morning, Hunt called the Starling City Police Department to his office where he reported what happened to detectives Quentin Lance and Lucas Hilton. The pair were skeptical of this report which annoyed Hunt, with him telling them that the vigilante had put two of his men in the hospital and that he would be back at 10PM, before demanding that the detectives arrive beforehand to co-ordinate a strategy with his new head of security, Drakon.

While preparing for the coming attack, Hunt noticed a party across the street which Drakon explained was a welcome home party for Oliver Queen who had recently been rescued from an island.

Once the deadline had passed, Drakon assured him that no one could enter the building. The vigilante then entered the building and made his way to the office where Hunt watched as several of his guards were killed. The vigilante then confronted Hunt about not fulfilling his demands and shot a router arrow behind him before being interrupted by Drakon who fought the vigilante long enough for Hunt to flee and alert the police.

The next day, Hunt discovered that the $40 million had vanished from his company's bank account and was furious when someone on the phone told him it was untracable. After hanging up, Hunt wondered how the vigilante did it while apparently still not noticing the arrow behind him.[2]

    Death[edit | hide]

In December 2012, Hunt was calling people in an attempt to restart his business when the Dark Archer broke into his home. Hunt mistook him for The Hood and asked if he had "come back for another pound of flesh" when he was suddenly shot to death with three arrows to the chest. His daughter found his body the next day.[1]
