Time Wave, also known as Reality Wave[1] or Temporal Wave,[2] is an energy wave generated by the Temporal Zone to change the timeline.

John Constantine's Mistake
After John Constantine went back in time and broke up with Desmond, a Time Wave was generated and wiped out his history working with the Legends in late 2018 resulting in the Legends losing a member and changing their method of catching Magical Fugitives.[3]
Knowing he broke time, John worked with Charlie and Zari to prevent the deaths of a certain Legend. Changing the timeline over and over again, they finally created a timeline where the Legends are all alive. However, they became murderous and sworn to kill Magical Fugitives instead of incarerating them in the Time Bureau Headquarters. John then chose to fix the problems on his own and fixed his relationship with Desmond moments after his younger self broke up with him. After he succeeded, he kissed him and created a massive Time Wave resetting the timeline.[4]
