Rene Ramirez is a candidate for mayor of Star City and the former vigilante known as Wild Dog.
Biography
Crisis
During the Crisis, Rene participated in the Bunker as mission control while The Flash, Supergirl and The Atom fights a giant Beebo.[1]
Later, Rene fought alongside other heroes of Earth-Prime and eventually defeated the Anti-Monitor. Hours after the fight, Rene stayed in the Bunker and had a moment of silence for Oliver Queen.[1]
Final Mission
Weeks after the Crisis, Rene was preparing for Oliver's funeral and received the news of the kidnapping of William Clayton, the son of Oliver. He then suited up for the final time as Wild Dog and teamed up with Ragman on a search of possible locations, with the latter pointing out that Rene is the most similar person on the team to Oliver.[2]
Closure
Before the shut down of the Bunker, Rene informed John Diggle and Dinah Drake that Quentin Lance offered him the candidacy of being the Mayor of Star City. He then shut down the Bunker, leaving to attend Oliver's funeral in Queen Mansion.[2]
After the funeral, Rene started his candidacy with the help of numerous individuals.[2]

Abilities
- Marksmanship: As an experienced vigilante, Rene is capable of using different variation and types of firearm easily.[1][2]
- Hand-to-Hand Combat: Rene was able to fight Shadow Demons by hand-to-hand combats and disintegrate them.[1]

Former Equipment
- Wild Dog Suit: As a vigilante, Rene wears an armored outfit with holsters for his guns. After the final mission, Rene decided to retire from vigilantism and become a candidate for Mayor of Star City.[2]
- Guns: Rene uses a series of firearms including a pair of Beretta 93Rs against his enemies while operating as a vigilante.[1]
