Dr. Mortimer is a coroner that worked for the Central City Police Department.

In 1990, CSI Barry Allen told Mortimer to study the body of a homeless he found last night. Upon arriving, Allen was surprised that the body description doesn't match what he found. When Barry told him from what he died, Mortimer answered that he simply died from heart attack.[2]
