At some point of his life, Mick Rory joined the Legends and had a bond with the Waverider's A.I. Leonard. Later, the team disbanded after one of their members died. Rory took the ship as his residence and tried to be a romance novelist with self-published works such as Caged Passion.[2]

During the Crisis, Harbinger went to Earth-74 to use the supposedly abandoned Waverider. However, her assumption was incorrect and was greeted by Leonard.
