Mason was the father of Steven.

Fatherhood[edit | hide]
At some point, Mason had a son named Steven. In 2021, the pair were on a fishing trip when Steven caught a large tooth, which he later fashioned into a necklace. However, he cut himself whilst making the necklace and began to transform into a reptilian creature due to an infection.
Eventually, Mason decided to chain up his son after he became more violent as the infection spread, but Steven escaped and killed several people in Gotham City. Following him into the Gotham Sewers, Mason eventually came across Batwoman and Alice and explained the situation to them. He then electrocuted Batwoman to prevent her from arresting his son, only to be murdered by him in the process.[1]
