Dr. Julian Albert Desmond,[6] or simply Julian Albert,[1] is a former metahuman CSI expert and a former member of Team Flash.

Killer Frost[edit | hide]
In 2017, Julian Albert Desmond was kidnapped by Killer Frost while he worked alongside Team Flash. Desmond was eventually released, and eventually left Central City following Savitar's defeat.[8][9]

- Powers via the Philosopher's Stone: After coming into possession to the Philosopher's Stone, Desmond succumbed to Savitar's control, becoming the villainous Alchemy.[1][6]
- Parachronal Retrocognition: Alchemy was able to restore the memories of other individuals from Flashpoint.[1]
- Telepathy: Alchemy had the ability to communicate with others across a great distance through their minds.[1]
- Transmutation: Using the stone, Alchemy successfully transformed many individuals into Metahumans, as they were in the Flashpoint timeline.[1]

- Genius-level Intellect: Desmond possesses a high intellect and has a deep understanding in many scientific fields.[1]
- Computer Knowledge: In mere minutes, Desmond programmed an algorithm that tracked individuals with relation to Alchemy.[2]
- Chemistry: As a forensic scientist, Demons is an expert on chemistry and forensics.[1]
- Engineering: Despite not being an experienced individual in the engineering field, Desmond was still able to create the Power-Dampening Necklace for Caitlin Snow.[5]
- Marksmanship: Desmond, while holds the role of forensic scientist, carries a firearm with him.[10]
